Nicky Spence

Nicky has been working for the Outreach Service for the past 3 years. She is an Advisory Support Worker and supports both children and families within the borough. 

Prior to this she worked locally for 13 years as a Parent Support Worker supporting children with a hearing loss and their families. 

She has qualifications in Psychology and counselling. 

She has a son with a Profound hearing loss who has Cochlear Implants and therefore set up a monthly Cochlear Implant Support Group. 

In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog, swimming and travelling when possible.
