Sonia Ali
Advisory specialist teacher of Literacy/Dyslexia and ADHD
Sonia has been working with the Outreach Service since Apri 2017. She is a qualified spLD (Dyslexia) specialist Teacher and Assessor and holds AMBDA status (Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association). Previously she worked in mainstream settings for 14 years as a Secondary English teacher and SEND and Literacy teacher for students who experienced SEMH challenges; low literacy and ADHD.
Sonia has written two books about ADHD: The Teenage Girl’s Guide to living well with ADHD (Hachette, 2021) and The Emotional Literacy Toolkit for ADHD (Hachette, Nov 2023)
